Photography meet ups can be a really good way to find like minded people who enjoy the same habby. They can also be very intimidating when surrounded by people who all think they are the best and have the best equipment. I always go along to these with the main focus of networking and concentrating on my own photography and not worrying about what other people are doing.
This London meet up was with a local photography group, covering tower bridge, borough market the south bank area. At the begining of the meet up the the group organiser discussed that they were going to run a competition and had criteria for 8 photographs that could be entered into the competition. He would pick the winner the following week who in his opinion had taken the best 8 photos.
